MASHREQ BANK SAVINGS ACCOUNT REQUIREMENTS

The requirements for a Mashreq Bank savings account are:

  1. A current passport
  2. A valid Emirates ID is required for nationals; foreigners must provide a bank statement from their country of origin from the previous two (2) months.
  3. Proof of residence; foreign nationals must submit address proof from their work/residence permit, whereas locals may submit any official document containing their current home address.
  4. Proof of income, such as a pay stub, income letter, or salary certificate
  5. Fill out the account opening form.
  6. Your initial minimum deposit. This is determined by the account type. Please see the table below for a complete list of savings accounts and their respective minimum initial deposits.

In addition, applicants must be at least 18 years old. To apply, a minor (someone under the age of 18) must be accompanied by a guardian/parent.

MINIMUM INITIAL DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS FOR MASHREQ BANK SAVINGS ACCOUNT

The following are the minimum initial deposit requirements for Mashreq Bank:

The Mashreq noon VIP Savings account, Easy Saver account, MaxSaver account, Money Multiplier account, and Daily Bonus account all require a minimum initial deposit of AED 5000.

The Basic Savings account requires a minimum initial deposit of AED 3,000.

There is no minimum initial deposit requirement for the Gold Edge Investment Account or the Dream Saver Account.

SAVINGS ACCOUNT WITHDRAWAL LIMIT

Savings accounts at Mashreq Bank have withdrawal limits, both in-branch and on products and services.

These withdrawal limits are set daily and monthly, and they are the same as the accounts' minimum balance requirements.

When you withdraw more than the minimum balance requirement, your account is charged.
