This post is meant for those who had completed their JAMB registrations but need their profile codes later.
I have received lots of questions - all surrounding how to recover a lost JAMB profile code. This is because CBT centers or JAMB offices are asking for these codes in order to access candidates' portals to upload their O'level results - especially those who had earlier used awaiting results.
What is certain is that CBT centers may need it before helping you do anything in your JAMB account.

Retrieve JAMB Profile Code
You can retrieve your JAMB profile code using the USSD code;
- Open the text message app on your phone
- Enter 55019 or 66019 as text receiver
- Type RESEND
- Send text message
- You will receive your profile code
- The JAMB profile code does not expire.

How To Get JAMB Profile Code Via SMS 2022/2023
UTME Profile code Creation Procedure;
Open your Phone Messages app
Send NIN To 55019 or 66019
To Officially get your JAMB profile code Type the word NIN then space and add your 11 digit NIN Number and send it to 55019 or 66019 through SMS.
E.g NIN 12345678999
There should be a space between the word NIN and your 11 digit NIN.
You will receive a 10-character Profile-code on the same telephone number which will be used to procure your JAMB E-PIN for 2022 UTME Registration.
If after sending the text and you received WRONG PARAMETER as feedback, it simply means you are sending in the wrong way (INCORRECT FORMAT) try again.
Please note that you can also use your 2021 Profile code to register JAMB, if you have been getting feedback from 55019 that your Number is already linked to another number, simply make use of your 2021 phone number and profile code.
NO RECORD FOUND simply means you have not VALIDATE your NIN or Not linked to your number.
INSUFFICIENT BALANCE means you don’t have AIRTIME.
